Mia is the Founder, Managing Partner, and Principal Designer at MLD. Driven by an early love for all things design and inspired by childhood memories spent in her mother’s design firm, she brings a unique blend of creativity and meticulous detail to every project. Each design is a testament to her parents enduring work ethic and dedication to crafting a lifestyle rich in warmth and love.

Mia began her professional journey at Bloomberg in New York City, orchestrating events that ranged from intimate gatherings to grand spectacles spanning continents. Her expertise spans from curating intimate experiences for 30 people to commanding the attention of over 30,000 attendees. With over a decade working in event design, Mia decided to explore turning her other hobbies and passions for interior design and travel into a career. Her design style blends her bicoastal lifestyle with her New York roots and current California coastal living and she pulls inspiration from her worldwide travels to over 20+ countries.
